Roxanne Perez caused quite the stir on this week’s episode of WWE NXT by beating Mandy Rose to win the NXT Women’s Championship, with the occasion getting even more traction following Rose’s release from the company soon after. Anyone doubting the new champion or under the impression she was lucky to be handed the strap because of the Rose situation has received clarity that this was not the case and that she was always meant the win the belt, just that the decision was speeded up because of Mandy’s release.
Roxanne Perez was the first-ever ROH Women's Champion in 2021. A year later, she is now the NXT Women's Champion.

Already acknowledged as one of the best wrestlers on the planet at just 21, the future is bright for Rok-C in WWE. She also has some readymade feuds with frenemy Cora Jade and Zoey Stark to work through and continue her climb up the pro wrestling mountain while also proving her worth as the face of the NXT women’s division.
