Some fans might feel that WWE has more than enough time belts, but the company seemingly doesn’t feel so. With Roman Reigns holding both the top belts and only appearing on a part-time basis on both Raw and SmackDown, Triple H & Co are looking to add a new strap on the men’s side.
Wrestling News has reported that WWE is hoping to go into the summer with a top championship for each brand. Luckily, the promotion has enough time to make this happen.
Also, as per Wrestling Observer Newsletter‘s Dave Meltzer, there are also lots of discussions ongoing over adding a second title to Raw, although nothing is confirmed.
“There remains a lot of talk of creating a second title for Raw (or SmackDown if they switch brands with [Roman] Reigns or if someone beats Reigns) in 2023.”
