This news is nothing new, and neither has it been under wraps lately. However, there is an update on the future of JONAH, as per the really busy Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio. The veteran journalist revealed that WWE has offered the high-flying big man a contract to return to the promotion he called home for a few years.

“JONAH certainly has an offer from WWE and he’s got to make a decision, he’ll either be New Japan or WWE. He got a great push in New Japan, and it’s going to be his call.”

JONAH who wrestled as Bronson Reed in WWE, joined the company in 2019 and was released in August 2021. After his exit as part of the annual budget cuts under Vince McMahon’s watch, the Aussie joined Impact Wrestling and NJPW, working dual dates with the two companies. He even took part in the G1 Climax 32 this summer, finishing with eight points.
