Another former Tag Team Champion has been forgotten about by WWE – On the September 12th 2022 episode of RAW, SmackDown Superstars Aliyah & Raquel Rodriguez lost the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles to Dakota Kai & IYO SKY of Damage Control.
Aliyah got injured in this match.

Despite getting healed since then and no longer being injured, Aliyah hasn’t appeared on WWE programming since her Title loss.
Aliyah took to Twitter to reveal that she got cleared to return to in-ring action on October 27th.
When a fan asked where she has been all these months, she replied with a meme that stated “Umm, I don’t know…”.
A fan then told her to do backstage shoots, and she replied: “If only I was backstage”.
Then a fan wrote that he hopes to see her in Montreal for this month’s Elimination Chamber PLE, and she replied: “Sorry to let you down”.
Aliyah later deleted the tweets with the exception of the one below. It’s clear from her tweets that WWE doesn’t have any creative plans for her on SmackDown right now.
Why do WWE just forget about their former champions and in this case former Tag team champion Aliyah?
