Last night on the Holiday Bash edition of AEW Dynamite on TBS, Swerve Strickland finally cemented his full-blown heel turn on Keith Lee by having him attacked by his new faction members. The Mogul Affiliates have arrived on the show, and it looks like Lee might have big problems.

During a segment mediated by rapper Rick Ross, Keith Lee was attacked by Parker Boudreaux and an unidentified man with tattoos and braids. The former has been seen on AEW TV before, but the latter was a mystery man, and his identity was finally revealed to be former baseball player Granden Goetzman by Fightful Select.

The 6-foot-4, 30-year-old Goetzman, called “Human Bazooka” during his baseball days, was the second-round draft pick for the MLB’s Tampa Bay Rays in 2011. He even played pro ball until 2021 in Mexico before finding himself in AAA in the Rays minor league system.

Swerve Strickland, Boudreaux, and Goetzman, in custom Mogul Affiliates gear, ended up using the numbers game to take down Lee. They placed the big man on the steel ring steps with a cinder block on his chest, before Strickland double-stomped him from the top turnbuckle and smashed the hard material on Lee’s chest.
