Vince McMahon rejoined the board of directors earlier this year and was elected chairman once more.
In preparation for the impending RAW/SmackDown/NXT TV contract negotiations, he is returning to promote the company and make sure they get the best possible agreement.
Bloomberg reports that Vince is requesting $9 billion to sell the business, 37% more than WWE’s current market value of $6.5 billion.

The stock has increased by 30% since Vince’s comeback in January and the announcement that WWE was being put up for sale.
We reported today that Vince McMahon sat in the gorilla position during last night’s RAW. He wasn’t there to manage the creativity, though and reports suggested he was only there to meet his good friend John Cena.
Since announcing his retirement late last year, Vince had never been backstage at a WWE event.
A scoop from Sean Ross Sapp, stated that Vince was sporting a new look backstage at RAW:
“Vince McMahon had a mustache backstage per one of the talent I heard from.”
