During a media call on last Thursday, AEW CEO Tony Khan promoted the Ring of Honor PPV and brand ahead of the ROH Supercard of Honor pay-per-view event. However, those who were keen listeners would have been aware that Khan repeatedly hinted that he has a major announcement for the upcoming April 5th episode of AEW Dynamite.
All Elite Wrestling has since confirmed that Khan will make an important announcement on the show with a new Tweet on their social media seen below.
Fans have been speculating online about the nature of the announcement, with theories ranging from CM Punk’s potential involvement to new AEW programming, another major new signing in the like of Goldberg, to an updated release timetable on the new AEW game which is now well over 4 months overdue
Tony Khan is now continuing this hype today as he tells fans he is about to have one of the best AEW shows ever.
