Teddy Long was a long-time WWE employee and has seen a lot of ups and downs, both personally and with the performers he worked with.
He recently spoke to a news outlet about multiple pro-wrestling topics, including how he hopes that Randy Orton, out of action due to injuries that now require surgery, listens to his doctors if it comes to them telling him to not wrestle.

The WWE Hall of Famer hopes that Orton makes the right decision when it comes to his career:
“Randy Orton, a great friend of mine, too, had a lot of great times with him there. I just hope Randy makes the right decision, you know. There are people like Edge, Kurt Angle, that said [sic] they wouldn’t come back once they found out they had injuries and the doctors told them it’d be dangerous for them to return to the ring, and they came right back.”
Teddy Long also insisted it was important for Orton to listen to his doctors:
“So, I just hope Randy does the right thing. If the doctors tell you to stay out of the ring, I suggest you stay out of the ring. Not to just deliberately hurt yourself, but it’s still about the money, man.”
Orton has been out since May and recently underwent surgery, and there have been fears about his in-ring future. We hope he can recover to a 100% and return soon to do what he does best.
