Stephan Bonnar passed away due to heart complications. He’s a UFC legend well known for a famous fight from 2005 that many believe put UFC on the map. He also competed in Impact Wrestling in a match against Moose at Victory Road 2019. He was 45 years old.

This is what Dana White said about Bonnar on UFC.com. “Stephan Bonnar was one of the most important fighters to ever compete in the Octagon. His fight with Forrest Griffin changed the sport forever, and he will never be forgotten. The fans loved him, related to him and he always gave them his best. He will be missed.”

Bonnar spent a very short time in Impact Wrestling. He made several appearances, and wrestled against Moose at Victory Road in 2019. He tagged with Moose in 2017 at Bound for Glory against King Mo and Lashley.

This is what Impact Wrestling tweeted, “We’re deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Stephan Bonnar. We offer our deepest condolences to his friends and family at this difficult time.”
