WWE Superstar Shelton Benjamin is considered one of the most athletic superstars in the history of WWE. He debuted in the promotion in the year 2000 and two years later earned his call-up to the main roster. His partnership with Charlie Hass quickly turned into one of the best tag team duos of the era. The two were also a part of Team Angle and used to work for Olympic Gold medalist Kurt Angle.

Benjamin completed his 20 years in WWE on this week’s Monday Night RAW and WWE shared a video of superstars congratulating him for achieving the prestigious feat. The video included bytes from the likes of Shawn Michaels, Molly Holly, Mia Yim, Kofi Kingston and a few others.

Shawn Michaels professed in the video that there will be a spot for the high-flying athlete when he decides to hang up his boots.

“Shelton, I mean, I can remember him coming in the door and it doesn’t seem that long ago. Now it’s 20 years. “From the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels, I just want to say congratulations. And we will keep a spot warm for you in the Hall of Fame, my man. Because that’s a guaranteed deal whenever it is you’re ready to put up the boots. Congratulations.”

The Heartbreak Kid also recalled his iconic match against Shelton Benjamin back in 2005 which the former won by hitting a superkick as he caught the latter mid-air.

“I feel like one of the best matches of my career, I really feel like what Shelton and I did out there was really cool,” said Shawn Michaels. “It’s a match that people remember to this day, and I’m always so proud of matches that like that, things that people know where they were when they saw that match.”
