Roman Reigns has been the most dominant superstar in WWE since his return as a heel at SummerSlam 2020. There is a case to be made that no performer has been protected this heavily while reigning as world champion ever in the company, but whatever the case, he is definitely in a league of his own.
Reigns has also faced almost every credible challenger over the past 800-plus days, and that is why it seems one of his next opponents could be Bray Wyatt. However, it seems likely that the Undisputed Universal Champion will refuse to with the recently-returned star.

That is what Wrestling Observer Radio’s Dave Meltzer said when discussing Bray Wyatt’s potential feuds in the future, which included Roman Reigns:
“Everybody who works with Bray Wyatt, very few of them come out looking better Do they go with him and Roman? I could see Roman wanting nothing to do with this guy. If it’s not being built for Roman, then he’s got a limit to how far he can go, if Roman doesn’t agree to work with him. Obviously, Roman’s in a completely different place right now with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.”
Reigns is currently feuding with Owens, which could lead to an eventual betrayal of Zayn and a massive babyface push for the former NXT Champion if creative wishes so. Wyatt, meanwhile, is feuding with LA Knight, and Meltzer might not be wrong in that Reigns and Wyatt may not face off anytime soon, knowing how difficult it has been to come out looking better in a storyline with the latter.
