Ric Flair gave his opinion about women bleeding in wrestling. He’s not a fan, at all. Ric of course has bled a lot. His head’s been so cut on that he can smash himself in the forehead with a fist and just bleed. Be that as it may, he doesn’t want that for women wrestlers, including his daughter, Charlotte Flair.
On the To Be a Man podcast, Ric Flair said, “I don’t like it. I mean, I guess everybody’s got their own opinion, but I certainly wouldn’t want to see Charlotte bleeding.”
Ric Flair also isn’t a fan of women in cage matches. “I think there should be more with the guys. No matter how you look at it, how do you put two people in a cage match? Ten years ago, every time we hit the cage, we’re bleeding. Now nothing happens. That’s one thing I don’t like. I don’t like the girls in a cage match for sure because I think it limits their ability, their athleticism, and their ability to do athletic things like off-the-top rope and that.”
Should women be in cage matches? Well, his daughter, Charlotte, competed in the first women’s hell in a cell match against Sasha Banks. There, she faced and defeated Sasha Banks. This match is praised by many who enjoy women’s wrestling. But as Ric Flair says, everyone has their own opinion.
What do you think? Is it ok for women to bleed in wrestling? Should women compete in cage matches? We heard from Ric Flair, but what about you?
