Charlotte Flair has not been seen on WWE TV since dropping the SmackDown Women’s Championship to Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania Backlash earlier this year. The Queen was given a deserved break from the promotion to fo get married to Andrade El Idolo, but with such a long absence, fans have been awaiting her return.
Charlotte’s father, Ric Flair, was on hand to update her fans on what she has been doing while away from the company. On the most recent episode of the To Be The Man podcast, the 16-time world champion said that she has been holidaying with Andrade in Italy.
Interestingly, Charlotte seemingly dropped a tease for a return to WWE recently via an hourglass emoji on social media. She was also rumored to be coming back at Survivor Series as a surprise member of Bianca Belair’s team for the Women’s War Games match, but it turned out to be false, as another returning star, Becky Lynch, filled that slot with aplomb.
Charlotte Flair Trains with NXT stars
– Charlotte Flair is training toward a WWE TV return, posting a pic with a couple of NXT stars on Friday. Flair, who has been out of action since WrestleMania Backlash when she lost the Smackdown Women’s Title to Ronda Rousey, posted a photo to her Instagram stories with Zoey Stark and Alba Fyre in the ring.
