RAW kicked off after a short promo from Seth Rollins talking about how Kevin Owens weaseled his way into his title match at WWE Day 1. We got short segments from Big E and Owens before we headed for the opening match.

Big E vs. Kevin Owens – Steel Cage Match on RAW

Owens tried to escape the cage by climbing out early on but Big E caught him and slammed him into the cage wall and dropped him on the ropes. E took Owens down with a big tackle into the cage wall before tossing him back onto them over and over.

Owens dodged a dive from the Champ, sending Big E into the cage wall before we headed for a break.

Back on RAW, Owens hit a huge dive from the ropes and took Big E out. The WWE Champion was trying to walk out of the cage but Owens caught E and dragged him back to the middle of the ring.

Owens tried to climb out once more but Big E stopped him before taking a sunset flip bomb from the ropes. Owens hit a Superkick and the Cannonball before getting a near fall on the champ.

Owens and Big E were near the cage door and KO locked in a Boston Crab but Big E nearly crawled out the door with Kevin on his back. However, Rollins ran in and shut the door in their faces, making sure the match continued.

Big E took a Frog Splash after another break and Owens got a near fall before dodging the Big Ending. Owens hit a Powerbomb for a near fall before almost making his way outside the cage. Big E dragged him back in before hitting a Big Ending from the second rope.

Owens tried to stop Big E from crawling out of the cage but the WWE Champion made his way out and picked up the win.

Result: Big E def. Kevin Owens

After the match on RAW, Seth Rollins attacked Big E outside before turning his attention towards Owens in the ring. Big E stopped Rollins from getting the stomp on Owens and hit a Belly-to-belly suplex on him before hitting the Big Ending once more on Owens.

Bobby Lashley came out of nowhere and took out Big E with a Uranage before we headed for a break.

It was shown after the break that, Lashley attacked Big E, Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens before leaving the ring. It seems like the WWE Title picture just became more interesting.

Queen Zelina vs. Nikki A.S.H. on RAW

Nikki started strong and pushed Vega into the corner early on before Zelina got in control and hit a running knee for a near fall. Nikki got a clothesline before getting a splash and a bulldog.

Vega tried to get a pin on Nikki with her foot on the ropes but the referee caught her and broke the count. Zelina dodged a splash from Nikki before getting the pin off a Code Red Powerbomb in the ring.

Backstage on RAW, RK-Bro unveiled a new tag team tournament to decide their new opponents and it was called RK-Bro-nament. Riddle was out in a blazer and had one for Randy as well. Orton was not happy about it but agreed anyway before they headed out to ringside.

Backstage on RAW, Nikki A.S.H. and Rhea Ripley ran into Jerry Lawler.


AJ Styles & Omos vs. the Street Profits – RK-Bro-nament Round 1 on RAW

Ford and AJ kicked off the match and Dawkins came in early for a double-team move leading to a near fall. Omos dropped Dawkins by grabbing the ropes before AJ took out Ford from the apron and then hit a dive on Dawkins on the outside.

Omos came in after the break and hit a massive slam on Dawkins as the match continued on RAW. AJ was back in and Ford got a near fall off a rollup before taking a big boot.

Dawkins came in and the Profits hit double dropkicks on Omos to take him out before AJ hit a vertical suplex on Ford in the ring. Styles went for the Phenomenal Forearm but Omos forced a tag at the last moment.

AJ was attacked by Dawkins outside but Omos ran and tossed him into the barricades before unloading on the Street Profits member. Omos was the legal man and the referee counted him out.

After the match, AJ was trying to tell Omos to listen to him but the big man walked out on Styles. Riddle tried to interview AJ after the match but he walked off.

Becky Lynch was backstage on RAW and said that Liv Morgan has the support of the WWE Universe right now, but that would change the moment she is no longer the underdog.


Randy told Riddle that he was done calling the tournament matches as RAW continued.

Damian Priest (c) vs. Robert Roode – United States title match on RAW

Roode took Priest into the corner before the US Champion countered and got some big moves in. Roode kicked out of a pin attempt, and Ziggler interfered, distracting Priest at ringside. This allowed the Glorious One to capitalize and send Damian over the barricades.

Roode got a near fall off a Blockbuster before Priest got back in control and hit a big slam. Roode took the Broken Arrow for a near fall before he got a backstabber for a near fall of his own.

Roode got another near fall off a spinebuster from the ropes, but Priest dodged some big moves before getting a Reckoning for the win.

Result: Damian Priest def. Robert Roode to retain the United States title

Ziggler hit Priest with a Superkick after the match before retreating with Roode.

Doudrop vs. Bianca Belair on RAW

Doudrop attacked Belair before the match began on RAW. But Belair had the upper hand after the bell.

Doudrop hit a senton before taking Bianca into the corner for big strikes. Doudrop got a choke locked in but Belair managed to break free.

The former NXT UK Superstar was dropped from the apron before she dragged Belair out too and sent her into the apron.

Back in the ring, Belair took a headbutt but dodged the canonball. Bianca tried for the KOD but failed to lift Doudrop. The former NXT UK Superstar walked away from the match, letting Bianca win via count-out.

Result: Bianca Belair def. Doudrop via count-out

Backstage on RAW, Mr. McMahon was in his office and Austin Theory walked in before the WWE Chairman told him that he booked a match for him tonight.


The Miz challenges Edge for a match at WWE Day 1

Miz TV was back on RAW and Edge was the guest for the night. They made fun of each other a bit before Miz called Edge weak for being nice to him last week.

The A-Lister said that he was kicked out of the locker room back in the day and Edge did nothing then.

Edge said on RAW that he did try to help back then but The Miz brushed him off.

Miz challenged Edge to a match at WWE Day 1 and the Rated-R Superstar tried to taunt him into a fight right then and even pushed him down but the A-Lister didn’t fall for it.


The Mysterios vs. Alpha Academy – RK-Bro-nament Round 1 on RAW

Dominik and Gable kicked off the match and Riddle called the Academy ‘greasy.’ Dom and Chad traded slaps before the former came in with a dropkick.

Gable got a single-leg crab locked in before Chad dropped Dom in the corner with a dragonscrew and went for a moonsault.

Dominik dodged the moonsault and rolled up Gable before picking up the win.

Result: The Mysterios def. Alpha Academy

Riddle tried to interview Gable and Otis after the match but the big man took him out with a big slam.

Grade: B


Backstage on RAW, Vince told Theory that his match was called off and so he had to impress him in some other way, using his brains.


Finn Balor vs. T-Bar on RAW

T-Bar was dominating the match early on RAW and got a near fall off a big slam. Balor was being tossed around the ring but managed to get some strikes and rolled him up for a near fall on RAW.

Balor got the double stomp and tried to the top rope move but T-Bar went after him and tried to counter into a chokeslam. Balor blocked the move and pushed him down before getting the Coupe de Grace for the win.

Bobby Lashley was asked about the reason for his attack on Big E, KO and Rollins earlier and he and MVP said that that was the payback for disrespecting The All Mighty.


Becky Lynch vs. Liv Morgan – RAW Women’s Championship match

Morgan was in control early on and Lynch dodged a big kick on the apron after being taken down by the challenger. Becky tried for an early Disarmher and then went for it again after a rollup.

Morgan and Lynch traded covers as RAW continued. Becky kicked Morgan out of the ring before taking a knee to the face on the outside. Liv hit a massive crossbody over the ropes before the match went back inside the ring.

Lynch caught Morgan on the ropes and got a superplex before we headed for a break.

Back on RAW, Becky got a near fall off an inverted DDT. Lynch dropped Morgan on the turnbuckles before taking an enzugiri to the side of the head.

Morgan got a big knee in the corner before Lynch dodged the Oblivion. Liv hit the double knees on the second try before The Man came back with some strikes. But she got stomped into the apron.

Lynch kicked out of a pin but was locked in a double armbar. Lynch got the Disarmher off a counter but Liv found the bottom rope. Morgan dodged the Manhandle Slam before Becky got the pin with by holding on to the ropes.
