Ever since it was announced, fans have been waiting with bated breath to see Shinsuke Nakamura take on the legendary The Great Muta as part of the latter’s retirement tour at Pro Wrestling NOAH’s New Year event on January 1.

It should get the year off to a fantastic start for the pro wrestling business, and it looks like the wheels for the match have begun turning. NOAH hyped the bout, even more, today by releasing a clip of the King of Strong Style arriving in Japan for the massive showdown.

Fans and the general public were surprised that WWE allowed Nakamura to go ahead with this match. It was later revealed that Vince McMahon had vetoed his request, but once Triple H took over, he ensured that the former IWGP champion was given the go-ahead for the bout.

Nakamura is pretty excited about the match, and it remains to be seen how good a show the two veterans put up.
