NXT WarGames kicked off at the WWE Performance Center and first up on the card was the women’s WarGames match. Later in the night, Cameron Grimes was set to face Duke Hudson in a Hair vs. Hair match and the men’s WarGames match, which was our main event for the pay-per-view.

Ray and Kai kicked off the match and Kay Lee Ray had the early advantage with a big toss from the corner but was sent into the steel cage wall a few times by Dakota.
Kai had KLR on the ropes between the two rings but Ray fought off before Dakota got a baseball bat.
Ray hit a dive on Kai before attacking her with a Kendo Stick. A bunch of kendo sticks were set up in between the two rings and KLR dropped Kai on them.
Cora Jade was in after the timer counted down to zero and she headed to the ring with her skateboard and Kai was caught in the corner, outnumbered by Ray and Jade.

Kai took some double team moves but managed to reverse one into a double DDT. Next up was Gigi Dolin and she got a trashcan and a bag of tools from under the ring.
Dolin got the advantage for her team by taking both Ray and Jade down and Kai joined her.
Jade and KLR got back in control before Cora put the trashcan on Dolin’s head and hit a dropkick. Ray dropped Kai on top of Gigi and the trashcan.
Io Shirai was in next and went for a couple of steel chairs and another trashcan before heading to the ring.
Shirai took a big boot as she joined the match and was sent into the cage wall by Dolin.

Jade hit a botchy hurricanrana on Kai between the two rings as NXT WarGames continued. Jacy Jayne was next and she got a table in. Team Shirai was in trouble and were being tossed around the rings and onto chairs and garbage bins.
Shirai set up Kai, Dolin, and Jayne in the corner and hit knee strikes with the help of a trash bin cover before they set up Jayne on a table. Jade hit a dive from the top of the cage, sending Jacy through it.
Jade looked hurt as she clutched her shoulder and Shirai refused to let the medical team in before putting Cora’s possibly dislocated shoulder back in its place.

Gonzalez was in next but Team Toxic tried to keep the door closed so as not to let her in. Gonzalez sprayed them with a fire extinguisher before packing up Kai in a trash bin and tossing the whole thing across the ring.

Shirai was on top of the WarGames cage as Raquel put Kai in the garbage can once more before Io hit a dive on her. Mandy Rose was in next and took Gonzalez down with a chair and dragged Cora by her injured arm.
The two teams were in either ring before the chaos truly began and Raquel tried to double powerbomb Jacy and Gigi. But Rose hit her with a kendo stick. Jade was back in the fight and used a kendo stick and her good arm to defend herself as all of Team Toxic came after her.
Jade took a kick to the face and went down but managed to kick out. Gonzalez hit the Chingona bomb on Jayne before she and Gigi took each other out. Jade got the pin on Jayne to pick up the win for her team.

We got some short promos for Boa, Briggs & Jensen, and Tiffany Stratton as the WarGames continued. Team Black and Gold was backstage and Ciampa said that tonight was Gargano’s moment to shine.

Barthel and O’Reilly kicked off the match and Marcel went for KOR’s arm early. Aichner and Wagner were in the ring and Von got a near fall off a side slam. Aichner hit a Death Valley Driver on Wagner as the match continued at WarGames.
O’Reilly locked in a guillotine but Aichner reversed it and turned it into a cover with the help of Barthel. Wagner and Barthel were tagged in and the official was distracted as O’Reilly came in with a high-low and got a near fall.
Wagner was sent outside and Aichner hit a dive on him before O’Reilly got a brainbuster in the ring for a near fall. O’Reilly locked in a submission but Barthel got the tag and hit the Imperial Bomb for the win.
Result: Imperium def. Kyle O’Reilly & Von Wagner to retain the NXT Tag Team Titles

Cameron Grimes vs. Duke Hudson – Hair vs. Hair match at NXT WarGames
Grimes was sent into the steel ring steps early on before the match continued in the ring. Grimes took a slam in the corner before Hudson took control of the match and nearly beat Cameron via count-out.
Grimes managed to come back with a near fall off a reversal before Duke continued his onslaught. Grimes got a spinning DDT before sending Duke out of the ring and then back inside.
Grimes hit a huge Poisonrana on Duke before nearly being pinned with a crossbody. Hudson tried for his finisher but Grimes reversed it and rolled him up with a handful of tights to get the pin.

Hudson tried to run away and the fight continued in the second ring as Duke took out Grimes and put him in the barber’s chair. Grimes fought back and managed to get Hudson in the chair before shavinghis hair off.

Roderick Strong vs. Joe Gacy – Cruiserweight Title match at NXT WarGames
Looks like @JoeGacy just one-upped @DiamondMineWWE with the sinister @harlandwwe at ringside…
Gacy backed off into the corner as the match began and tried to talk to Roderick before going for a hug. But he then slapped Strong. Gacy was taken down as Roddy unloaded on him but came back with a tackle and some kicks.
Gacy sent Roderick outside next to the rest of Diamond Mine and hit a dive on Roddy and the Creed Brothers. Ivy Nile got in Gacy’s face and Harland lifted her up. Gacy let him put Nile down before the match continued in the ring.

Gacy got a big counter and hit Roddy with a Tilt-a-whirl Powerbomb for a near fall. Roderick hit the End of Heartache and picked up the win at NXT WarGames.

Carmelo and Gargano kicked off the men’s WarGames match and they countered each other’s moves early on. Gargano put Melo in the corner and hit some strikes before being caught with a kick in between the two rings.
Melo was caught on top of the ropes and on the cage wall and Gargano slammed his head on the steel. Waller was in and hit a vertical suplex before getting a backbreaker on Gargano.
Melo recovered and joined Waller but Gargano dodged the double kicks and took them down.
Trick Williams tossed a steel chair inside the cage and started climbing from the outside. But Gargano hit him with the chair and dropped him from the inside.

Pete Dunne was in next and saved Gargano from the beating he was taking in the ring.
Dunne put Waller’s fingers in the steel cage wall and locked in a hold before joining Gargano in an innovative double submission while kicking their opponents in the face at the same time.

Tony D’Angelo was in next as the WarGames match continued and with the help of Trick Williams, brought a bunch of tables, trashcans, and kendo sticks in the ring. Dexter Lumis appeared from under the ring and chased off Williams while D’Angelo chained the cage door shut.
Team 2.0 was dominating in the ring and LA Knight was stuck on the outside before climbing up the cage wall and attacking Grayson Waller in the ring. Knight evened the odds and got a neckbreaker on Waller before dropping D’Angelo on him.

Bron Breakker was in next at WarGames and used bolt cutters to break his way into the cage, with some trouble. Breakker took out Dunne and Gargano before getting a huge slam on Knight.
Ciampa was in the ring and after a big sequence from the Champ, Melo managed to take him out. Gargano came behind them with a crutch and attacked Melo before handing Ciampa the weapon as the match devolved to a streetfight.

Team 2.0 was back on top yet again and D’Angelo and Breakker were stomping on their opponents while Waller hit them with the trashcan lid. Team Black and Gold made their comeback and sent 2.0 onto the steel cage wall all in a row before knocking them down with tackles and kicks.

Knight nearly pinned Melo at WarGames but it was broken by Tony. Knight was taking a beating from Breakker and D’Angelo before Ciampa came and hit them with a trashcan.
Ciampa lifted Breakker onto the middle rope and hit a big suplex on the trashcan. Waller put LA Knight through a table before Dunne broke up the pin on Knight. D’Angelo came up with a crowbar but got taken down before Dunne attacked Melo with a kendo stick.

D’Angelo hit Dunne with the crowbar and stole his mouthguard before hitting a top rope move with the crowbar in Dunne’s face. Gargano and Ciampa took out Breakker and Waller and hit Bron with the DIY for the near fall.
Carmelo hit Gargano with a low blow before Ciampa took a spear through a table from Breakker. Bron got his finisher and picked up the win at NXT WarGames!
