MVP miraculously turned on his former client Bobby Lashley a few months back to take the side of Nigerian giant Omos. Since then, the former United States Champion has done a decent job of managing his new client who has been thoroughly destructive, to say the least.
Omos most recently fought Braun Strowman at WWE’s premium live event, Crown Jewel, in a losing effort. Prior to that, he picked up a victory against the All Mighty Bobby Lashley with help from MVP at WrestleMania Backlash. Though the Nigerian is currently not involved in any storyline, he remains a big part of the current roster.
MVP recently joined the ESPN Milwaukee Studio and discussed his plans for the big man. He highlighted that his client did well to make it to the global juggernaut and the next step is to win championships, most preferably the WWE gold.
“I hope to accomplish one thing at this point in my career and that is leading The Nigerian Giant to championship gold. He knows what it is to be a winner. He’s been a winner his entire life. Now, he’s made it to the WWE, I would say the NFL of professional wrestling if you will. The absolute apex. No one is bigger, no one is stronger and with my experience and his aptitude, the WWE Championship, I would say it’s an inevitability.” (H/T – Post Wrestling)
While speaking on the topic, MVP also acknowledged the fact that the Stamford-based promotion is filled with incredible talents and it wont be easy for Omos to make his way up the ladder. The 49-year-old identified current Undisputed WWE universal Champion Roman Reigns as one of the best in the business right now.
