This week’s Monday Night RAW saw the promotion celebrate its 30th anniversary. The episode saw the return of many WWE legends including the likes of the Undertaker, Kurt Angle, Ric Flair, and Road Dogg amongst others. The Deadman was seen in his old American Badass avatar while Kurt ANgle appeared as a part of D Generation X.
However, Hardcore legend Mick Foley was not a part of the benchmark episode of the red brand. Updating his status on Facebook, Foley stated that he “politely declined” to be a part of the episode. He also noted that he had the best moments of his life on Monday Night RAW and wished everyone on the special occasion.
“Sending out happy 30th anniversary wishes to everyone involved with Monday Night Raw. It is no exaggeration to say that some of the very finest moments of my life took place on this program – and I’m hoping for another 20 years. I was not able to make it this time, but I just might be there for the 50th anniversary in 2043!
he also asked the WWE Universe about their favorite Mick Foley moments.
“I’m wondering what a few of your favorite Mandind, Dude, Cactus or Commissioner Foley moments are from the Monday Night archives… Winning the title from @therock the first time is the no-brainer end so try to take a little deeper dive than that!
