Maven may have had some unforgettable moments in WWE, but his latest revelation may not be to the taste of everyone. The one-time Tough Enough winner was recently on The Monte & Pharaoh Show to talk about all things pro-wrestling, including how he was into taking steroids to compete with the best in the business.
Maven admitted to taking steroids during the course of the chat, saying he loved everything about the substance.
Maven said the following
“I loved everything about it. the good, the bad, the ups, the downs. I’m not going to lie, the money. I’m the one wrestler, I’m going to be perfectly honest, whether you like or dislike my answer. I hate it when guys talk about, ‘Did you take steroids?’ and they beat around it. I did them. I did. I’m not sorry for it.”
He even revealed that he wishes he had taken more of the same:
“I wish I would have taken more. I would have done everything the same. At this point in my life, at 46, there is no one I’m trying to get the approval of. Why lie? (H/T and transcribed by Fightful).”
It’s an interesting revelation from Maven, but it remains to be seen how WWE reacts, if they do. Also intriguing will be the reaction of his colleagues from that era.
