Matt Cardona’s WWE Return is all but set according to new reports today.

Matt Cardona lost to NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Tyrus in the main event of Saturday’s NWA Nuff Said pay-per-view.

Over the last few months, there has been speculation that Cardona could return to WWE alongside his wife, Chelsea Green, who returned at the Royal Rumble.

In past interviews, Cardona stated that he feels he has unfinished business in WWE.

Wrestling News Premium, WrestlingNews.co’s Patreon account reported today that people backstage in WWE have information that suggests it’s only a matter of weeks away.

It’s unclear whether he’s signed a deal yet. However the report states

there are definitely some in the company who would know and believe his return is imminent.”

Orlando, Florida is home to Cardona. In January 2017, he started dating Canadian professional wrestler Chelsea Green, and on April 4, 2019, they became engaged. On December 31, 2021, they exchanged vows in Las Vegas.

Cardona is a huge Ghostbusters fan. He has occasionally worn ring gear with Ghostbusters themes during battles and spoke about his fondness of the series in the 2016 film Ghostheads.

Chelsea Green this week revealed that she had a secret breast enlargement without telling WWE.  You can see the FULL STORY HERE

Matt Cardona’s Wife Re-Signs with WWE

As seen at Royal Rumble 2023, Chelsea Green returned to WWE.

She entered the Women’s Royal Rumble match at #20 and got eliminated by Rhea Ripley in just 5 seconds.

According to Fightful Select, Chelsea’s new character is supposed to be a ‘Karen’:

“There have been tentative creative plans for her to play a comedic ‘Karen’ type character based on what we heard.”

A “Karen” is a term that is generally used as a slang term to describe a woman who is perceived as entitled, demanding, and difficult to deal with. The term is often used in a humorous or mocking way to describe someone who is acting in a way that is perceived as rude or demanding. The name “Karen” is thought to have become associated with this stereotype because of the prevalence of the name among middle-aged white women. However, the term has been used to describe people of any gender or race.

If you watched her return, she was acting like a ‘Karen’ during her entrance.

She acted the same way backstage after her elimination, as she started complaining and threatening to ‘report’ everyone.

Chelsea Green could be a really good “Karen” what do you think?  Sound off in the comments below
