On January 17, 2023, Jay Briscoe tragically lost his life in an automobile accident. His two girls are now recovering after surviving the vehicle accident. In the wake of his brother’s terrible demise, Tony Khan worked valiantly to recruit Mark Briscoe to AEW despite several barriers being placed in front of him by network officials.
Recently, Mark Briscoe and RJ City spoke on the “Hey! (EW)” podcast about a variety of topics. The former ROH World Tag Team Champion told a comical tale about how his pet bulldog bit him in his house a few years ago, costing him his false teeth.
“I do not [have false teeth], I did until I met my wife. She said, ‘I don’t care if you wear your teeth or not, I kinda think you look better without your teeth!’
“It might’ve been the very same day… I was taking a nap in my recliner, teeth on the armrest, I wake up and the teeth are gone. The pitbull ate my teeth!”
For those who are curious, Mark Briscoe’s tale of losing his natural teeth is heartbreaking to say the least. In 2006, the younger Briscoe lost his teeth while competing with his brother Jay in a tag team battle after Jay unintentionally struck his sibling in the face with a steel chair.
