Maria Kanellis debuted on AEW Rampage, alongside Matt Taven and Mike Bennett. They are known as “The Kingdom” and made their goals clear. They want to take the IWGP and ROH titles from FTR.

These three were all from Impact with a run of a few months there. Impact Wrestling was just a pit stop for them because, on October 8th, they left. Now that they are in AEW, they can face FTR and any other group. They are a natural fit in AEW’s rebuilding tag team scene.

Some thought they might show up in WWE, but that seemed unlikely. Maria did not speak highly of her time in WWE, making hints towards the possibility that Vince McMahon might have been a creep into her general direction.

Maria and Mike Bennett had an unusual run in WWE. They signed a five year contract worth 2.5 million, and then told WWE that Maria was pregnant. Some might say that they didn't think WWE would honor the full five years. They were nearing the end of their third year when they got released.

It’s interesting to note that recently departed Impact stars have debuted in both WWE & AEW this week. On Monday Night RAW, Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson both appeared on RAW to take the side of AJ Styles against The Judgment Day.
