WWE still has not decided who is going to face Roman Reigns for the main event of WrestleMania 39. Out of all the names, the Rock has been at the forefront of the speculations and there is still no clarity if the Rock would be there at WrestleMania 39.

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that the Rock might not wrestle Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39 as he feels that he does not have the time to get in the kind of shape to do a main event match at the grandest stage of them all. Meltzer also noted that the Rock has not ruled out battling the Samoan world champion in the future.
“We were told that unless he changes his mind in the next few days, since a deadline for Mania plans is coming, that he’s indicated he won’t have time to get into the kind of shape, he feels he needs to be in to do a main event match with Roman Reigns, but kept the door open for something in the future. Of course, it is a possibility that it’s something being kept a secret from everyone.”
For those who are unaware, Roman Reigns has already headlined two back-to-back WrestleMania events as the world champion. he has also not been pinned for over 3 years and it will surely take someone special to do so.
