WWE is reportedly hoping that Logan Paul is available for the upcoming Royal Rumble premium live event on January 28. Fightful Select (h/t Sunil Joseph of Ringside News) has revealed that the promotion wants to make use of the social media star’s presence at the annual over-the-top extravaganza, but it’s not clear what his role would be at the show.
Paul faced Roman Reigns in the main event of Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia for the undisputed WWE Universal Championship on November 5, where he proved to everyone that he belonged in the squared circle. However, unfortunately, the internet personality injured his knee during the bout and initially disclosed that he may have torn his ACL. Two weeks later, his brother, Jake Paul, told DAZN Boxing (h/t WrestlingInc’s Nick Miller) that it wasn’t as bad as originally feared.
The younger Paul brother added that the injury was to Logan’s MCL and meniscus and that he had begun rehab. So fans can expect him to be there at the Royal Rumble in some capacity, serving as a surprise as well as someone providing the company with that coveted crossover appeal.
