Kurt Angle has been quite vocal and active since his retirement from WWE following a loss to Baron Corbin at WrestleMania 35. He also runs a successful podcast, The Kurt Angle Show, where he shares stories from his in-ring days and thoughts about the pro wrestling landscape today.
During a recent chat on his podcast, the Olympic hero discussed legendary WWE superstars fans would love to see return to the squared circle for a match or two. Angle also admitted that he wouldn’t think twice about wrestling again for WWE if he is offered $3 million:
“What are you talking about? I’d do it in a second. Good knees or bad knees, I’d do it in a second
The former world champion had double knee surgery last year but revealed that irrespective of his condition, he would jump at the chance to earn a huge payday. The figure mentioned above was what Shawn Michaels earned for his return match at Crown Jewel 2018, where he tagged with Triple H to face The Undertaker and Kane.
Angle ended by adding that he wasn’t surprised that HBK earned so much for just the one bout. He noted that the company always takes good care of the Hall of Famer as he is a WWE lifer.
“Wow! You know what? I’m not a WWE lifer; Shawn is. So, his loyalty is still with the WWE, and they pay them very well for it”
