Konosuke Takeshita signed with All Elite Wrestling back in November 2022, although he has not been featured on AEW television.

In an update on his future with the promotion, Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer revealed the following:

“Although he’s not being featured on television right now, and when he is, he’s there to lose to the top stars in great matches, there are significant plans for Takeshita to be pushed as a top tier guy.”

Takeshita is scheduled to face Bryan Danielson on next week’s episode of AEW Dynamite in Los Angeles.

Takeshita is presently a notable performer in AEW, and fans frequently compliment his matches despite the fact that he rarely succeeds in the competition, having lost to competitors like Eddie Kingston, Hangman Page, and Claudio Castagnoli.

Takeshita has lost to Jon Moxley since his return in November 2022, and he will face Bryan Danielson in a singles contest on January 11 of Dynamite. Takeshita is predicted to lose this fight. On the Rampage show from November 18 he paired up with Jun Akiyama to defeat Eddie Kingston and Ortiz.
Takeshita continues to wrestle for DDT Pro-Wrestling in addition to AEW; his most recent match with the organisation took place on January 5 and ended in a time-limit draw with Yuki Ueno.
