Kiana James & Fallon Henley are the NXT women’s tag team champions. Tonight on NXT Vengeance Day in front of a live crowd in Charlotte North Carolina, these two rising stars claimed history. They ended the 186 day reign of Katana Chance & Kayden Carter.
For Kiana James and Fallon Henley, this is their first gold in WWE. Fallon, originally known as Tesha Price, has largely only been a WWE featured wrestler. However she did make over 20 appearances on AEW dark in 2021. WWE has largely been her home and that might be the way it will stay. Her partner, Kiana James also worked in AEW a little, just a mere 4 matches.

Together they are now NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions. The idea might be for them to get more experience, but as champions now. Often these titles in NXT are used as a way to build up a wrestler’s experience long before any main roster runs.
Their opponents, Katana Chance, and Kayden Carter had what is considered a good title run. They might be due for a main roster run soon. Both women are in their lower 30s. NXT often tries to push those in their 30s up to the main roster, or out of the company. Hard to say what’s coming for them. But regardless, many fans felt they had a solid tag run.
