As per a report from Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, Jay White is expected to leave New Japan Pro-Wrestling when his contract runs out. It is believed that he will head to the United States to pursue further career opportunities.
However, before WWE fans start dreaming, Fightful Select (h/t Aidan Gibbons of Cultaholic) has added that White has appearances left for NJPW post the Royal Rumble premium live event on Saturday, January 28. Hence, there is no way that the 30-year-old will debut for the promotion at the annual over-the-top pay-per-view extravaganza.
"Switchblade" Jay White's NJPW contract is up soon, and sources in the company expect that he's leaving for America, Fightful Select has learned.

What makes this news all the more noteworthy is the fact that the Bullet Club leader will face Hikuleo in a Loser Leaves Japan Match at NJPW The New Beginning on February 11.
For someone who is just the fifth-ever NJPW Triple Crown champion and the first-ever NJPW Grand Slam Champion (IWGP Heavyweight, IWGP United States Heavyweight, IWGP Intercontinental, NEVER Openweight), offers will not be in short supply, so it remains to be seen where White’s US sojourn takes him.
