Goldberg just announced that he intends to wrestle again. He stated that he is not ready to end his career just yet. He may have one more match in him yet and doesn’t want to end it with a loss to the tribal chief.
This is what ESPN 92.9 FM, “I will wrestle again at some point in WWE. I don’t plan on going out by losing to Roman Reigns.”
Goldberg’s last match was against Roman Reigns at Elimination Chamber 2022. He lost to Roman Reigns in a match for the WWE Universal Champion. Their battle at Elimination Chamber is the only one on one match between himself and Roman Reigns.
When he wrestled his last match, some had thought that Goldberg’s career would be over soon after. There were reports that his shoulder was injured. Goldberg has lost four of his last five matches. Aside from Roman, he’s also been defeated by Braun Strowman, Drew McIntyre, and Bobby Lashley.
He may well be looking to improve his recent record lately. Who might he go against? Goldberg in a revenge match against Roman Reigns? Perhaps another battle with Bray Wyatt… though I’m sure if Bray isn’t winning, the fans would be pissed about it.
