Drew McIntyre has plans for the WWE Titles. The two world titles in WWE have been in the vice-like grip of Roman Reigns for almost a year, and there is no inkling about the company separating the titles anytime soon. However, with The Tribal Chief seemingly set to face Royal Rumble winner Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 39, things could change post the mega event.
Someone who would welcome any such split in the world titles is Drew McIntyre. The former WWE champion recently spoke to Scott Fishman of Pro Wrestling Illustrated and discussed what’s next for him.

The Scot revealed that he wants to win a title in front of fans, as his initial WWE title win and subsequent reign took place during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. He added that the Undisputed WWE Universal Title should be done away with and that WWE should return to having the WWE Title on RAW and the Universal Title is on SmackDown.
“I wanna get a title in front of live fans. I had it for 300 days with nobody there. Obviously, Clash [at the Castle] would have been an awesome moment if I was able to pull it off. Roman’s on this run of a lifetime right now. Curious to see where that goes. Ideally, we’ll get those titles separated back on their respective shows and back on the live events and all over. But can’t deny what Roman’s done with them and how he’s representing [WWE] as champion.”
