During Thursday’s FTR with Dax Harwood Live event, CM Punk conveyed a message to his fans. Harwood dedicated a segment of his show to read a multipart text message from Punk. When asked if he wanted to send a message to his fans, Punk replied affirmatively saying,
“Yes I Miss Them”
The audience started chanting Punk’s name, to which Harwood added that Punk wished he could have bought them all ice cream.
After making some controversial comments during the post-AEW All Out media scrum in September 2022, CM Punk got into a backstage altercation with The Elite, resulting in his suspension. Similarly, Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks also faced suspension following the incident. However, they have returned to AEW television since then.
During his AEW World title match against Jon Moxley at All Out, Punk suffered a torn left triceps and underwent surgery to repair the injury in September.
CM Punk Works out with Dax Harwood
Dax Harwood from FTR frequently mentions his strong bond with CM Punk and how they communicate on a regular basis. In a recent update on Thursday, Harwood shared a series of pictures on social media featuring himself, Cash Wheeler, and Punk at a gym in Los Angeles. Along with the post, he added the caption “LA.” Harwood has expressed his desire to witness CM Punk’s return to AEW in recent remarks.
“If him coming back and … finishing his storybook career here gives him a peace of mind, then I think it should happen and will happen.”
