CM Punk has been in a storm since the AEW All Out media scrum and the following backstage brawl involving Ace Steel, The Young Bucks, and Kenny Omega. He opened a can of worms after going on an unchecked rant on Colt Cabana, Hangman Page, and The Young Bucks, which has ensured the company has not been the same since.

Soon after the incident, AEW suspended everyone involved, with Ace Steel even losing his job. The Elite should return to AEW television soon, but as far as Punk goes, he might just be done with wrestling.

Reports have suggested that CM Punk is done with AEW

Punk was also suspended for his involvement in the fracas, but he was injured anyhow and continues to recover from the same. And now, speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Nick Hausman revealed that he heard The Second City Saint’s close friends were unsure if Punk would ever wrestle again. With cash not being an issue for the former AEW world champion, he could just walk away from it all for good.

“Cash does not seem to be an issue for this guy. He’s got in-roads in Hollywood going on right now. Stephen Amell certainly shining him up with what they’re trying to do over on Heels right now. I have a lot of people that have known Punk that say to me ‘This guy’s never gonna wrestle again’.”

Punk, who hasn’t heard from AEW since the backstage brawl, might sue Tony Khan for the AEW All Out episodes. As far as his pro wrestling career goes, we will have to wait and see if it’s over or not.
