Veteran wrestling booker and podcaster Jim Cornette claims that a prominent AEW star will return to the WWE to be inducted into the organization’s Hall of Fame. It’s none other than Chris Jericho who is the superstar in question.
Although Y2J’s record undoubtedly qualifies him for the WWE Hall of Fame, The Ocho stated recently in an interview with the Daily Star that he has “zero interest in ever going back to WWE.”
Cornette announced that the head of JAS would return to Stamford on the most recent episode of his Drive-Thru podcast:

In addition, Cornette acknowledged that Jericho’s opportunities in the ring might be limited even if he made a comeback and that the former AEW Champion appears content in his current promotion. Yet, the controversial wrestling veteran thinks The Painmaker will return to the biggest promotion in the world.
What did Chris Jericho say about WWE?
Chris Jericho insists he has “zero interest” in ever going back to the WWE before his career is over and has firmly nailed his colors to the AEW mast.
With decades of experience under his belt, seasoned artist Jericho continues to be one of the most adaptable and charismatic performers in the industry.

He finished a memorable period of his career with WWE in 2017 after becoming the first Undisputed WWE Champion and earning a host of other honors there. Around 18 months later, he helped create All Elite Wrestling.
Speaking to the Daily Star (UK) he stated.
“I don’t see why it wouldn’t be. I don’t hold a torch for WWE. To me, that’s not ‘the place to be.’ AEW is the place to be. It really is. I’ve been in WWE. I know how it works. They work that way, I don’t care if Vince is there, Hunter is there, or whoever is there. They have a way of doing things, and I was there for 20 years and was pretty good at it. I like the way we do things at AEW better… so I don’t know why I wouldn’t want to finish my career in AEW.”
