Yes, you read that right, Charlotte Flair is the champion. Thus making my last article, outdated in under an hour. Ronda Rousey faced Raquel Gonzales for the women’s championship. Ronda Rousey retained, but Flair made her return.

Charlotte Flair challenged Ronda Rousey to a match, to which Ronda agreed. Thus we had our second women’s title match of the night. Shayna tried to keep it from happening, but it did. Charlotte had a quick win, and then end. Flair is the champion.

Charlotte’s last match before tonight was against Ronda Rousey. It was at WrestleMania Backlash, where Ronda Rousey won the title over Charlotte Flair. Her arm was injured by Ronda in a storyline injury that wrote her off for months. That allowed for Flair to get married, have a honeymoon, and give her time away from the business.

In that time, Ronda won the title not once, but twice. But it’s Charlotte’s time again. I guess we can assume that Ronda Rousey vs Becky Lynch for the title isn’t likely to happen at WrestleMania now. Charlotte is now a 14-time women’s champion, or 16 if you count the NXT women’s title runs she had.

Are you happy to see the return of Charlotte Flair?
