It might be Brian Cage last weeks with AEW.
We recently stated that Brian Cage AEW contract was about to expire. Fightful continued by claiming that they were informed that some of the time that was meant to be added to Cage’s contract was actually taken into account when Cage was signed after leaving IMPACT Wrestling years ago due to an injury.
It hasn’t been ruled out that AEW offered Cage a contract extension that was equal to his existing one, according to those with knowledge of the case.
The initial deadline for Cage’s AEW deal was mid-February to late January. According to reports, Cage has recently had some “big hitters” from AEW on his side. In a specific public statement, Chris Jericho expressed his desire for Cage to rejoin AEW and highlighted his accomplishments.
