Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com has reported that brand crossovers will continue in WWE for the time being. With the whole concept really being hit-and-miss so far among fans, there was talk that the company would do away with it at some point.
However, Johnson has revealed WWE intends to continue using this process, especially to drive The Bloodline story forward. He said:
“We’re told that brand crossover talent won’t be slowing down any time soon, especially as a vehicle to accelerate Bloodline feuds.”

With The Usos and Roman Reigns being unified champions but being affiliated with SmackDown, it would make sense that stars from Raw would target their titles. Also, with the whole Sami Zayn story being perhaps the best thing going on in pro wrestling today, it helps that the plot is run across both brands.
Also, with AJ Styles out with injury and Seth Rollins seemingly joining him on the list, it would help the red brand have some star power as the road to WrestleMania has begun.
