Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley have renewed hostilities recently, and the two are seemingly on a collision course at WrestleMania 39, especially after the All Mighty eliminated the Beast from the men’s Royal Rumble match last weekend. However, if reports are to be believed, WWE could get them to clash at its next premium live event, Elimination Chamber.

Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio (h/t Danny Wolstanholme of Wrestling Inc.) has revealed that Lesnar has been added to the card for Elimination Chamber. His opponent has not been confirmed, but it is most likely to be Lashley.

Most fans and pundits the two would blow off their feud in a marquee bout at Mania, but it looks like they will do battle on February 18 in Montreal. However, the promotion can still choose to extend the feud until the biggest show of the year.

Those who feel they should not run two matches at Elimination Chamber and Mania will perhaps be happy if someone like Gunther, who has been presented as an absolute monster by WWE under Triple H, is added to the feud on the Grandest Stage of the Them All, making it a triple threat bout between three heavyweights.

Gunther also wants to face Brock Lensar

WWE superstar Gunther is currently in the middle of an emphatic run as the WWE Intercontinental Champion. He has retained the title against the likes of Rey Mysterio, Sheamus, Ricochet, Braun Strowman, and many more.

There have been recent rumors about Gunther possibly facing Brock Lesnar in the near future. In an interview with Battleground Podcast, Gunther addressed whether he would like to go one-on-one against The Beast Incarnate in 2023.

“Oh yeah. I mean definitely. That’s like to get the opportunity to prove myself and that’s the narrative it would be fantastic. And, yeah, I always, when I started out as a wrestler and I got back into watching wrestling again I always watched Brock’s matches becasue they’ve been fantastic. It was a standout right away. It’s nobody like him. I always like those characters,” he said.

Further in the interview, he also heaped praise on Brock Lesnar as a wrestler. He also stated that facing the beast would be a great chance to prove himself.

“He’s always been a great wrestler and from when I grew older in my career and I was able to analyze the work and understand that psychology and stuff like that I think you can tell that he’s one of the best to ever do it. So, if I get a chance to get in the ring with him I would gladly take that. Yeah, prove myself,” he added.
