Bobby Lashley finally made his comeback to WWE TV this week on Monday Night Raw, interrupting a promo between Seth Rollins and Austin Theory, where the latter two formally entered the Royal Rumble, and attacking the United States Champion. The Almighty himself announced his intentions to compete in the over-the-top extravaganza soon after.

However, that was not the end of the night for Lashley, as he was approached by MVP during a backstage interview with Byron Paxton. They apparently had “business” to discuss, with Montel Vontavious Porter hashing things out with his former charge.

MVP apologized for causing Lashley so much trouble in the past and told the former WWE champion Lashley that it was he who convinced Adam Pearce to bring Lashley back. He also revealed he had reached out to Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin, ending his side of the talk by noting that “this thing works best when they’re all on the same page.”

While Lashley said they were good, he added that he was not interested in any reunions or to forget everything so quickly. That makes sense, but luckily for fans, there’s a story building that should culminate in the former ECW champion and his Hurt Business brethren reforming at some point in the near future.
