WWE Superstar Bobby Lashley got into trouble recently after he failed to win a match against Seth Rollins. During the match, the referee got injured and did not count Bobby’s pin on time and Rollins eventually emerged as the winner of the match.

Bobby got furious after missing out on being the No. 1 contender for Austin Theory’s US Championship and attacked a few WWE officials. Adam Pearce came out to stop the All Mighty but was also attacked by the latter. Pearce lost his cool due to Bobby’s action and fired him. However, Pearce later took a U-turn on a decision.

Speaking on his 83 Weeks podcast, Erich Bischoff recalled a time when he fired Lashley and his girlfriend Kristal Marshall in TNA/IMPACT.

“Bobby was like working with butter, he was so easy. I’m talking about backstage. Just classy, easy, professional. Kristal was not. She was a little hard to deal with. She kinda ran that show, so that created a little bit of tension as time went on. She got in the way of Bobby’s career, not that it hurt Bobby at all. Obviously TNA was not gonna be where Bobby was gonna end up.”

Further in the podcast, he revealed that he took a very straightforward decision.

“I guess I could have said, ‘Bobby, the process is just too cumbersome with your beautiful wife [girlfriend] here involved, and we’ve made the decision that you’d be better off somewhere else,'” Bischoff continued. “I could have, and probably should have, done that, but I didn’t. I was just pretty straightforward with, ‘We’re gonna let you go.'”
