Well, that was as predictable as they come. After much speculation, Becky Lynch returns to WWE TV last night on SmackDown, revealed as the final member of Raw women’s champion Bianca Belair’s team for Saturday’s Survivor Series WarGames pay-per-view.

After an initial scuffle between the babyface team and Damage CTRL, Bayley pointed out that Team Belair still had one member less. That is when the EST revealed Lynch as the fifth member to a raucous crowd reaction.

All ten participants then brawled, with Lynch and her team standing tall to close out the show. The staredown between Rhea Ripley and Becky Lynch had fans excited, and it will be worth exploring a feud between the two down the road.

For those unaware, Lynch was injured for four months due to a shoulder injury suffered during her Raw Women’s Championship match against Belair at SummerSlam on July 30. However, WWE created an angle where Damage CTRL attacked her backstage the next night on Raw, putting her out of action so she could nurse the injury ahead of WrestleMania season.

With the Irishwoman’s return, the women’s WarGames bout has taken an interesting turn, and it remains to be seen if Bayley and Co can finally get one decisive moment over Belair and her buddies.
