Have you ever seen a heel make a heel turn? That’s kind of what happened when Austin Theory had a character change. Gone are the days of the cellphones, and Mr. Money in the Bank. In fact, he might be the first guy in WWE history that losing a MITB case actually helped.

Austin Theory spoke with BT Sport regarding his change of character, “It’s as wild as it has been for everybody else. You go from being so used to something to a quick switch and pretty much, that quick switch changes everything but, for a good way I feel like because for me, it was a chance for Austin Theory to evolve and go to that next level and you know, I can’t take selfies forever and be a goofball so it’s finding that next chapter and what’s gonna get me to becoming a world champion and I think we’re on the right track.”

Austin Theory has already met with success. He’s now the United States Champion again, getting a win over two former World Champions. He seems to be on his way to the top again.

Gone are the days of Selfies, for Austin Theory. He had some good ones with Vince, Brock Lesnar, Jeff Hardy, and others.
