The chaos inside AEW is just not dying down. The latest setback to Tony Khan & Co came in the form of an alleged backstage fight between Latin stars Andrade El Idolo and Sammy Guevara, as per TMZ.
The outlet also stated that Andrade was sent home due to the tiff, leading to Khan announcing that his match with Preston Vance had been pulled from this Friday’s Rampage.

Andrade and Guevara allegedly exchanged words and then got into fisticuffs backstage. It has not been revealed if anyone was harmed, though sources have remained firm about this not being part of a storyline.
During an interview with Mas Lucha earlier this week, Andrade discussed a recent spat with Guevara and claimed the youngster wasn’t happy about getting hit too hard in a match. Guevara seemingly responded via Twitter, asking Andrade to go back to WWE, pointedly stating that he only got his AEW job because of his father-in-law, Ric Flair.

TMZ added that many performers were “pissed” at Sammy for airing out private issues publicly, leading to things boiled over at the arena. Interestingly, the ‘Spanish God’ was at Wednesday’s Dynamite, appearing during a backstage segment.
