Sammy Guevara hadn’t forgotten about the attack from Tony Nese last week and charged at the former WWE Superstar as soon as the bell rang.

Nese came back at Guevara but Sammy dodged it with a backflip and took him down with a single-legged dropkick.

Sammy sent Tony Nese crashing out of the ring and took him out with a dive. Nese took back control by sending the Champion back-first into the side of the ring. Back in the ring, Tony Nese had a single leg Boston Crab locked in. Guevara broke free with a boot to the head and followed it up with a Springboard Cutter for a nearfall.

The main event of AEW Rampage saw FTR facing Penta and PAC in tag-team action. Fenix was not on this week’s show due to travel issues.

Penta and Cash Wheeler started the match for their respective teams. Penta forced Wheeler to retreat out to ringside. Both men tagged out, with PAC and Dax coming in as the legal men.

PAC initially got the better of Harwood, leading to Cash Wheeler charging towards him. PAC took Cash down with an arm drag but this gave Dax an opening, which PAC cut off with a back body drop. Penta tagged back in and hit a dropkick to Dax’s tailbone.

Cash Wheeler bought an opening for his team by distracting Penta, giving Dax the chance to tag out. FTR traded tags as they wore down Penta in their corner on AEW Rampage.

Penta managed to tag out eventually and PAC was all over Harwood when he came in. The former WWE star went for a springboard but ended up crashing to the mat, giving Dax the opening he needed to take back control.

Back from the commercial break, PAC sent Cash Wheeler crashing out of the ring. Dax quickly managed to tag in for his team, tossing PAC out of the ring. Wheeler went for a dive from the apron but missed the Death Triangle member and hit the guardrail. PAC was seconds away from making the tag, but Wheeler pulled Penta off the apron.

FTR hit a double-team move for a nearfall before Penta tagged back in. The luchador singlehandedly took on both members of FTR on AEW Rampage, hitting Slingblades on both Cash and Dax. Penta came close to pinning Wheeler before he was hit with a powerslam.

Penta replied with a Code Red for a two-count. Dax then hit PAC with a Tiger Driver for a nearfall. Tully Blanchard was on the apron and in the referee’s face.

PAC pushed Dax into Tully, sending him crashing out of the apron. Wheeler hit a DDT on the floor to Penta before PAC launched himself from the top rope to take FTR out at ringside.

Malakai Black came out as PAC was getting ready to finish off Dax, hitting him with the mist in the eyes. That was enough to put PAC away on AEW Rampage.
