On Sunday, April 2, Orange Cassidy, the International Champion of AEW, will have the honor of inducting Excalibur into the GCW Indie Wrestling Hall of Fame at a ceremony taking place at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles. The event will be broadcasted live on FITE+ at 3 p.m. Eastern time.

Excalibur, whose real name is Marc Letzmann, is a professional wrestler and commentator. He was born on December 13, 1980, in California, USA. Excalibur began his wrestling career in 2000, and he is best known for his work in the independent wrestling circuit, where he co-founded Pro Wrestling Guerilla (PWG) in 2003. PWG is considered one of the most influential independent wrestling promotions in the United States.

Excalibur is also well-known for his work as a commentator. He has served as a lead voice for All Elite Wrestling (AEW) since its inception in 2019, working alongside Tony Schiavone and Jim Ross. Excalibur is known for his extensive knowledge of wrestling history and his ability to provide insightful commentary on matches.

In addition to his work in the wrestling industry, Excalibur is also a trained graphic designer and has designed merchandise and promotional materials for various wrestling promotions.

Excalibur, who has been the lead broadcast voice of AEW since its establishment in 2019, is a well-known co-founder of Pro Wrestling Guerilla, which is recognized as the most influential independent professional wrestling promotion in the United States. With this induction, Excalibur will join an elite group of legendary wrestlers, promoters, and other contributors to the independent wrestling scene who have been honored by the GCW Indie Wrestling Hall of Fame.

Also confirmed by GCW is the news that Paul London will be the latest inductee into this year’s Indie Wrestling Hall of Fame class. The induction ceremony will take place on Sunday, April 2, during The Collective weekend. London will be the sixth entrant into the prestigious class, joining the likes of Christopher Daniels, Cheerleader Melissa, Jimmy Jacobs, Mike Modest, and Excalibur. During the ceremony, Kazarian will induct Daniels into the Hall of Fame, Dave Prazak will induct Cheerleader Melissa, Alex Shelley will induct Jacobs, and “Beyond the Mat” director Barry Blaustein will induct Modest.
