AEW and The Elite are not ones to leave things laying down, and it seems they have lots to say to the man who was responsible for their prolonged recent absence. Last night, Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks took potshots at the man they apparently fought with at AEW All Out, CM Punk.

During their AEW Dynamite tussle with AEW World Trios Tag Team Champions Death Triangle in the second bout of their Best of 7 Series in Punk’s hometown, Chicago, the first-ever holders of the titles they are fighting for were greeted by the Wintrust Arena with a strong reaction from a visibly pro-Punk crowd.

The Elite, as is the norm, played up their heel selves throughout, with Matt Jackson even recreating Punk’s failed Buckshot Lariat from Double or Nothing, which got a nuclear reaction from fans.

Kenny Omega then got in on the act by hitting a GTS on PAC for an awesome near-fall during the final stretches of the bout.

However, all their heel antics and posing could not help The Elite defeat PAC and The Lucha Brothers, who went two up in the seven-match series. The two sides will battle again next week on Dynamite in Indianapolis.
