Adam Page has returned to AEW after being away for several weeks due to an injury. Page was injured in a match with Moxley on October 18th, when he was selling a clothesline. He struck his head and suffered a concussion, people were initially worried that he injured his neck.
They said on commentary that Adam Page wasn’t cleared to wrestle, however, Jon Moxley and Page got into a physical fight that continued backstage. Some may eventually call out the decision to say this on commentary. Some fans insist that Saraya wasn’t properly cleared.
This appears to set up a return match for Adam Page against Jon Moxley. We can certainly rule out MJF vs Moxley for a while. Adam coming out like this, might be more what people were looking for in him, as opposed to his tendency to just stand around when he was world champion.
