Adam Cole is back Bay Bay! He made his return tonight on Dynamite after being out with a concussion for several months. Adam last wrestled at Forbidden Door, but he suffered a concussion in the Four Way match featuring Okada, Jay White, and Adam Page. There had been worries about his career being over.
Adam Cole announced there was good news and bad news. Many fans felt he might be announcing his retirement. But then he said, “The bad news is not for me. It’s for the locker room!” Cole then said he was going to be the absolute best Adam Cole that we’ve ever seen. That he had so much more to accomplish.
The return of Adam Cole could be a shot in the arm that AEW could use. There are many potential avenues for him. He could go right into the world title picture after AEW Revolution. He could face Darby Allin. As Adam said, he’s achieved a lot in AEW, but he has a lot more to do.
